Submitting solutions
Site members may submit solutions to bounties. Solutions must contain a public link to a GitHub branch or repository.
Solutions are judged by the original poster (OP) of the bounty. They may use their personal discretion to accept or reject solutions.
You can edit or delete your solution if it has not been accepted.
The site reserves the right to archive or delete bounties for any reason.
Submitting Intents
Optionally, before submitting a solution, you can create an Intent on a bounty communicating your intention to complete it.
The OP can choose to accept one or more Intents. When an Intent is accepted, the bounty becomes frozen, meaning the OP can no longer edit its title or Main Text, or delete it.
Best Practices
- Read the Main Text of the bounty carefully and ask any clarifying questions in the comments.
- Be aware that bounties might be competitive — multiple solvers could be working on the same bounty.
- Create an Intent when you are sufficiently confident you can complete the bounty.
- If you need assurance the bounty will not change while you are working on it, create an Intent and request that the OP accepts it.
